A veteran street vendor has delivered a heartfelt tribute to Britain as she reflected on her 25 years serving hot dogs to the people of Leeds.
Speaking to Miriam Cates, Lorraine Campbell of Campbell’s Real German Sausage Store declared: “What can’t you like about Britain?”

“We’ve been here 25 years, mainly by public demand,” Mrs Campbell began.
“My husband and I run the stall… but even if we didn’t have to do it, we’d still want to do it because we love the people.

“We have to work because we have to pay the bills. But we’ve been here 25 years, and we love it,” she declared.
The veteran street vendor’s love for serving the people of Leeds extended to her warm feelings fo the entire country.
“I love, not just Leeds, but Britain and England. It’s just fabulous.
“That’s why so many people want to get here,” she quipped.
“Everybody’s polite and nice, and because of our age, we’re vintage, and we’re brought up with the please and thank yous and morals and manners.
“But what can’t you like about England and Britain? What can’t you like?”
Miriam was in Leeds as part of GB News’s Celebrate Britain day to mark the fifth birthday of The People’s Channel.
Mrs Campbell was well aware, revealing she had created a birthday card to mark the day.

The large card featured an image of the vendor alongside GB News’s Patrick Christys on his own previous visit to the sausage van.
“There you go, Patrick. Lorraine has left you a little kiss on the bottom,” Miriam said with a grin.
The GB News host then asked Mrs Campbell what it was she loved about GB News.
“I like it because it’s truthful. What it says on the tin is what you get out of it,” she declared.
Despite the kiss to Patrick, Mrs Campbell insisted she liked all the GB News stars equally.
“I couldn’t choose one of your reporters (as a favourite) because you’re all amazing.
“I love it, I love it!” the street vendor exclaimed.
