Security guards at China’s embassy in London brandished electroshock weapons at demonstrators during a candlelit vigil.
The furious confrontation, which took place outside the embassy on Portland Place, was captured on film by one of the protestors.

In the footage, members of the embassy’s security team appeared to wave stun batons at protesters as they approached the building’s gates.
Demonstrators allege that embassy security staff directed the weapons towards them as tensions escalated during the gathering on July 3.
The vigil was held in memory of Lobga Rangzen, a prominent Tibetan independence campaigner who died after self-immolating outside the United Nations headquarters in New York.
