
The Met Office has issued a amber weather warning for Thursday as the UK prepares for its fifth heatwave.
The warning is in place for central England as well as north eastern areas and lasts from 9am on Thursday until midnight.

Britons have been warned to expect “adverse health effects including sunburn or heat exhaustion (dehydration, nausea, fatigue) and other heat-related illnesses.”
Areas of the UK are expected to reach 38C on Thursday.
