The police have announced the seizure of multiple supercars following reports of dangerous driving on the motorway.
Avon and Somerset Roads Policing Unit has announced the seizure of several vehicles, while multiple drivers have been reported.
It follows reports of dangerous driving involving a wedding convoy on the M4 and M5 in Somerset.
The Roads Policing Unit received several calls reporting the dangerous driving, prompting a police presence.

Posting on social media, a spokesperson for the Unit said: “Wedding bells, horsepower and a convoy… what could possibly go wrong?
“Officers located the convoy and, despite the impressive performance of the vehicles, proved that horsepower doesn’t replace common sense.”
Several supercars were pictured at the scene, including an Audi, a Lamborghini and a Mercedes-Benz G-Class.
Avon and Somerset Roads Policing Unit noted that drivers have been reported and further enquiries are ongoing to identify other offending vehicles.
It added that the drivers identified at the scene were travelling on the M4 and M5 to attend a friend’s wedding celebration.
However, the force said the motorway was “not the place for a wedding convoy to become a rolling supercar showcase”.

The force said: “Enjoy the cars. Enjoy the wedding. Just don’t make the journey there somebody else’s worst day.”
Social media commenters were supportive of the measures taken by the force, with many emphasising the importance of road safety.
One commenter said: “Good work Avon and Somerset police, any action that stops careless driving can only be a good thing.”
