Rhiannon Whyte’s sister has said the murdered asylum hotel worker would be “outraged” to see the Government refuse to release migrant crime data.
Speaking to GB News, Alex Whyte said “anger doesn’t even cover what I feel” as Labour slapped down attempts to reveal the scale of the crisis.

Ms Whyte was among 18 relatives of victims who signed a letter sent to Justice Secretary Alex Norris calling for the publication of data showing offenders’ nationalities in England and Wales from 2018 to 2024.
Despite the Information Commissioner ruling that the information should be unsealed, then Justice Secretary David Lammy sanctioned legal action last month to overturn it.

The move led to Labour being accused of “covering up” the data, an allegation they deny.
“I feel sick. I feel disgusted and completely let down,” Ms Whyte told The People’s Channel, adding: “Anger doesn’t even cover what I feel and it never will.”
“But why hide? We know what’s happening. Everyone is aware of what’s happening. Just be honest with us and let us help you fix it.”
Ms Whyte said she could not understand why the Government would refuse to provide information about offenders when comparable details can be accessed through sex offender registers.
“If you have a sex offender who’s from this country, you can go on a register and find out who they are.
“Why is that not for everyone who’s a part of this country? They want to be treated the same as everyone else.
“They want to be entitled to everything that we are entitled to here. We should know who they are and what they’re doing.”
Ms Whyte was also asked what she believed her sister would make of the Government’s refusal to publish the data.
“She would be outraged. Completely outraged,” the bereaved sister said.

Rhiannon Whyte worked at an asylum accommodation hotel and was murdered in October 2024.
Ms Whyte said of her sister: “She deserves so much more than what happened to her, and she is so much more than what happened to her.
“She is honestly the most beautiful soul you would ever meet. An incredible sister. And I’m really lost without her.”
The grieving relative said her sister “wanted people to be happy and safe. Hence why she worked at the hotel.”
“But we’re not safe. She wasn’t safe. And our government is going to keep making us unsafe if they do not do something about it soon.
“She no longer has a voice, but I do. And I will never stop until there is real justice.”
Addressing the government directly, Ms Whyte said: “Open your eyes. You are so aware of what is happening, but you are too afraid to admit it.”
“We as a country deserve better. My sister deserved better. Her little boy deserves better, and we will never stop until we’ve got real justice.”
