Reform councillor Jaymey McIvor and former Liberal Democrat adviser Jo Phillips were embroiled in a furious clash over migrant sex crimes.
The pair locked horns after Ms Phillips insisted “there are white British men who are just as bad”.

The clash erupted during a discussion of the rape of a woman by two illegal Afghan migrants while she was on a first date with another man.
“It’s no good us going. Oh, no, they’re bad when we’ve got young boys watching the filth and the sexist rubbish that is churned up by people like Andrew Tate,” the former adviser began.

“We’ve got white men in this country who are churning out sexist, misogynist stuff as well.”
The comment left Mr McIvor astonished as he leapt in to respond.
“Honestly, do you know what? I’m in politics because I’m afraid of people that say things like what you’ve just said,” the Reform councillor said.
“I cannot believe what you have just said.
“I will not be able to let you get away with the idea that we have bad people in our own country. Of course we do. That’s why we don’t need to import anymore.”
