Former England international Raheem Sterling has been charged with dangerous driving and possession of nitrous oxide following a motorway crash earlier this year.
In May, the 31-year-old crashed his Lamborghini, thought to be worth around £270,000, into barriers on the M3 southbound.
No other vehicles were involved in the crash, which caused no injuries.
Following the crash, at around 9am on May 28, Sterling was arrested before later being released on bail.

The ex-Chelsea man was also charged with failing to provide a specimen.
He is scheduled to appear at Basingstoke Magistrates’ Court on September 15.
A spokesman for Hampshire & Isle of Wight Constabulary said: “A driver will appear in court next month to face charges following a collision on the M3.
“Raheem Sterling, 31, from Berkshire, has been charged for the following offences: dangerous driving, possession of nitrous oxide for wrongful inhalation, failing to provide a specimen.
“The charges come following a single vehicle collision, involving a Lamborghini, on the M3 southbound, close to the Minley Interchange, on 28 May, 2026.
“No other vehicles were involved and no injuries were reported.
“Mr Sterling is due to appear at Basingstoke magistrates court on September 15.”
The Jamaica-born winger has been without a club since leaving Robin van Persie’s Feyenoord at the end of last season.

He played just 421 minutes of football for the Dutch side prior to his exit.
Sterling began his career at Queens Park Rangers’ academy, before joining Liverpool in 2010.
The winger made his debut for the Reds in a league tie against Wigan Athletic aged just 17, becoming the third-youngest player for the club.
He made 129 appearances in all competitions for the club, bagging 23 goals, before moving to Manchester City in 2015 for a fee of around £49million.
The move saw him become the most expensive English footballer ever at the time.
Sterling spent seven years at the club under Pep Guardiola, winning four Premier League titles, five League Cups, one FA Cup and a Champions League title.
In 2022, he returned to London to play for Chelsea, where he spent two years before moving to Arsenal on loan.
The 31-year-old was capped 82 times by England, scoring 20 goals, with his last Three Lions appearance coming in the 2022 World Cup quarter-final defeat to France.
