Police detain anti-migrant protesters in Portsmouth as unrest in city grows

Police have been seen detaining anti-migrant protesters in Portsmouth as unrest continues to grow over small boat crossings across the English south coast.

GB News’s Mark White was on the scene amid demonstrations as police attempted to block streets for protestors on the move.

“It is very tense here,” the GB News Home and Security editor said.

As they moved through the streets, cameras caught several men being taken aside by multiple officers.

Earlier today, Mark had been left baffled after officers marched left-wing counter-protesters to within just a few feet of the original demonstration.
