Patrick Christys was left stunned as he watched a massive dinghy launch from the French coast in the dead of night.
The GB News host observed the shocking scenes in Calais while investigating the new routes illegal migrants take to break into Britain.
Patrick’s full investigation will air tonight on GB News from 9pm, where he will reveal more astonishing findings and harrowing encounters.
Speaking from a pitch-black beach, the GB News host said: “You’ll probably be able to see the silhouette of all of those people wading out to that boat as we speak.”
He noted that the scenes caught on camera were the third pickup of migrants attempting to cross the English Channel that night.
“We’re witnessing a taxi service in action. In more ways than one, because they’re also being escorted by the French.”
“Look at the size of it,” the GB News host said, shocked by the scale of the boat making its way to the UK.
“It’s impossible to say how many people are on there, but it is absolutely chocka full.”
“Look at the size of that boat on its way to Britain,” a shocked Patrick reiterated.
He then spared a thought for those back home bearing the brunt of the small boat crisis, with migrants being dispersed to small communities around the UK.
“The people of Piddington, the people of Crowborough, the people of Linton-on-Ouse… These are your new neighbours,” the GB News host despaired.
An incredulous Patrick then pointed to the scale of the French authorities’ presence during the attempted illegal crossing.

“You’ve got the French border force who are helping illuminate the water for them. You’ve got a French lifeboat just on the side there.
“If we look at this and pan to my left, there’s another load of them waiting to go and get on another boat.
“There’s a gendarmerie man there just shining a torch on them,” he said.
Patrick’s investigation comes as the small boat crisis continues to fuel outrage across Britain.
Last week, tensions boiled over around England’s southern coast as protestors took to the streets in Dover and Portsmouth.
Demonstrators, some wearing masks, lined streets near sites where migrants had been dropped off by RNLI lifeboats to be processed and dispersed around the country.
Residents in small, leafy towns such as Piddington have also raised alarm over plans to house hundreds of migrants in their communities.
