North Korea caught stockpiling up to 120 nuclear warheads after Donald Trump reveals 'very powerful' atomic arsenal

North Korea has been caught stockpiling up to 120 nuclear warheads after Donald Trump revealed the extent of the hermit kingdom’s atomic arsenal.

On Thursday, South Korea’s Defence Minister Ahn Gyu-back said his country believes their neighbour is in possession of between 80 and 120 nuclear warheads.

The revelation comes after Donald Trump confirmed he is planning to meet with North Korean leader Kim Jong Un later this year.

The President also said the North Korean regime holds 57 “very powerful” nuclear weapons.

Mr Gyu-back said the American leader’s comments are at odds with estimates of South Korean authorities.
