A Lotto ticket bought from a shop in Aberdeenshire and worth £1million remains unclaimed almost a fortnight after the draw took place.
The winning ticket, purchased from a retailer in the region, matched five main numbers and the Bonus Ball in the second round of the Saturday, August 8 Lotto draw, securing its holder a seven-figure sum.

Allwyn, which operates the National Lottery, is now appealing to players in the area to rummage through pockets, wallets and drawers for any overlooked tickets.
The fortunate ticket-holder has until February 4 2027, to step forward.

That evening proved to be a remarkable one for Lotto players across the country, with seven new millionaires minted in a single night.
Among them was the still-anonymous Aberdeenshire winner.
Five of those millionaires each landed £1million by hitting five main numbers alongside the Bonus Ball.
Two further players split the £8.5million jackpot between them.
The haul underscores what Allwyn describes as a new chapter for the game.
The revamped Lotto is now producing more millionaires than at any previous point in its history.

She added: “We’re encouraging everyone who bought a ticket in the area to give it another check.
“Tickets can easily be tucked away and forgotten about, and we’d love to reunite this prize with its rightful owner. It could be you.”
Under National Lottery rules, holders of winning tickets have 180 days from the date of the draw to come forward, giving this particular winner a deadline of February 4 2027.
