Meghan Markle’s former stylist and closest friend has unveiled a new venture that bears a striking resemblance to the duchess’ own lifestyle empire.
Jessica Mulroney, the 46-year-old Canadian fashion stylist, has announced that The Haus of Her, a private members’ club and community platform aimed at “women in the middle of a defining transition,” is now accepting membership applications.
Co-founded with businesswoman Val Bryden, the club’s inaugural event is a bespoke perfume-making experience scheduled for September 15 at Toronto’s Orris Labs, complete with wine and personalised scent creation.
Members pay 39 Canadian dollars (around £20) each month for a subscription box promising “something to invigorate, something to inspire, something to relax.”

The parallels with Meghan’s As Ever brand, launched in 2024 and similarly targeting lifestyle enthusiasts with products spanning scented candles, wines and herbal teas, are difficult to overlook.
Meghan’s venture also made a notable announcement on the very same day, revealing a new sparkling wine under the As Ever label.
The duchess announced the launch of the Reserve Brut on Instagram, describing it as “a new chapter to celebrate.”
“Introducing our Reserve Brut,” the social media post adds.

“Crafted in the traditional Méthode Champenoise and sourced from Napa Valley, this elegant sparkling wine was made for gathering, toasting, and savouring life’s beautiful moments.”
It represents the third wine offering from As Ever, which has already brought a Napa Valley rosé and a Marlborough Sauvignon Blanc to market.
Meghan described the launch as “a new chapter to celebrate” – a phrase that could equally apply to her transatlantic relocation.

The two women first met in 2011 when Meghan was filming Suits in Toronto, and their bond quickly became one of the most talked-about friendships in celebrity circles.
Jessica was widely regarded as the Duchess’s fiercest ally, most trusted confidante and “keeper of secrets” – not least when Meghan began her covert romance with Prince Harry in 2016.
Their closeness was on full display at the 2018 royal wedding, where Jessica’s twin sons John and Brian, then aged seven, carried the train of Meghan’s gown at St George’s Chapel, Windsor, and her daughter Ivy served as a bridesmaid alongside Princess Charlotte.
In December 2015, Meghan gushed that “the room stops” whenever Jessica arrived at an event.
The Duchess’s 2022 Netflix documentary even featured footage of her FaceTiming Jessica from the grounds of Kensington Palace on the evening Harry proposed in 2017.
Their friendship fractured dramatically in 2020 when influencer Sasha Exeter accused Jessica of leveraging white privilege during the Black Lives Matter movement.
The duchess has not spoken publicly about Jessica in years, maintaining a silence throughout the entire episode and its aftermath.
Jessica, for her part, is now forging ahead with her professional reinvention without the royal connection that once defined her public profile. The Haus of Her represents her most ambitious attempt yet to rebuild her brand entirely on her own terms.
