
Lionel Richie has been hospitalised after falling ill and feeling “dizzy” at a show in Missouri.
The legendary Commodores singer checked himself into the St. Louis facility following his performance at The Muny in Forest Park.
Mr Richie remains in the Intensive Care Unit of the hospital as of Monday afternoon and is expected to be released on Tuesday, reports TMZ.
Sources said that the singer went to the hospital out of caution.

Eyewitnesses at the concert told the US outlet the 77-year-old appeared to be struggling a bit toward the end of the show.
Others suggested the singer asked his team to bring him a chair while performing his final song, the 1983 hit “All Night Long”.
Sources told TMS Mr Richie is being cautious and doctors are looking into possible slight dehydration.
