Just 6,000 small boat migrants have been removed from Britain since Labour came to power in 2024.
During Sir Keir Starmer’s tenure in No10, the former Prime Minister oversaw an eyewatering 77,183 small boat arrivals.
Mr Burnham took over from Sir Keir in the summer and was at the helm when a wave of new arrivals entered in his first few weeks in power.
He presided over 3,003 new arrivals on British shores.
This brings the total number under Labour’s watch to 80,186.
The party has returned just 6,103 of those who have crossed illegally, new figures revealed today have shown.
An ex-Home Office source previously told GB News: “It’s no longer a small boats crisis – it’s a big boat invasion.
“These mega-dinghies are frankly scary and they’ll only get bigger.”
They added: “The Tories failed abysmally but somehow things have got even worse under Burnham.
“He doesn’t have a plan and the country still doesn’t have a border.”
In total, over 80,000 immigration offenders, foreign criminals and failed asylum seekers have been removed from Britain since July 2024.
This is a 52 per cent increase from the previous two years, under the Conservative government.

Home Secretary Shabana Mahmood said: “This is a vital step in our effort to restore control to our border and make our migration system fairer for all.
“These new statistics send a message. We will always welcome those who come here legally and seek to build a better life.
“But if you come here illegally, or you break our laws, we will send you home.
“I know there is more to be done. That is why we are pursuing new legislation that will more swiftly remove those here illegally, and we are doubling funding to our Immigration Enforcement teams by 2028.”
Since the 2024 election, 19,622 enforced returns have been carried out.
Of the total returns, 24,471 were asylum-related returns.
11,733 foreign national offenders have been deported or returned from the country in the 25 months since the election.
Of these, 5,995 were part of the early removal scheme.
