In today’s GB News Daily Reflection, we consider forgiveness, drawing on Jesus’s teaching in Matthew 18 to turn the other cheek repeatedly.

Forgiveness can be difficult, but holding onto resentment can harm us. Like continually weeding a garden, forgiveness may need to be chosen again and again, freeing us from the burden of unforgiveness.

“I choose every day to forgive. For me, forgiveness is a bit like weeding in the garden. You just have to keep doing it.

“You have to just keep picking up the weeds because they grow back day after day. And unforgiveness is like that. So today my challenge is: who can I forgive?”
