In today’s GB News Daily Reflection, we remember that God delights in welcoming his children into the blessings of his reign.
“Faith is not the absence of challenges, but confidence in the presence of a faithful God. Whatever uncertainties we face, Christ invites us to live free from fear because we belong to his flock. Jesus gives the reason for this confidence.
“For your father has been pleased to give you the kingdom. Notice that the kingdom is not something we earn, or we purchase, or we achieve through our own efforts. It’s a gift that flows from the father’s love and his generosity.
“The kingdom is not merely a future hope, it is a present reality in which believers are invited to live, to live in God’s kingdom. Reality is to see life from God’s perspective. It means trusting his provision rather than anxiety his promises rather than fear his purposes rather than our limitations.
“The values of the kingdom righteousness, peace, love, joy, mercy, and justice. All these things are being shaped through our confidence and our relationship with God today.”
