Dozens of people are feared dead after a ferry burst into flames off the coast of the Philippines on Wednesday.

Five people are confirmed to have died with 87 still missing after the MV June Aster caught fire just a mile off the coast of Barangay Marcilla.

According to a Philippine Coast Guard, 42 people have been rescued from the vessel so far.
