GB News Reporter Dougie Beattie has reflected on his five years at GB News, declaring he has “loved every second” of representing the People’s Channel across Ireland and Northern Ireland.
Dougie told GB News viewers: “It’s been a great day here, Martin. I really have enjoyed showing people around Belfast, showing what we have on offer and how the British culture and history comes together.

“And for me, this is five years of GB News. I think I am the longest serving video journalist in our crews at this moment in time, and I can tell you I have enjoyed every moment of it.
“The start of it was extremely hard, people refused to talk to us. Some people still do, but that’s for them to find out just how good a channel we actually are.”
