US President Donald Trump has taken aim at the UK’s lack of support for the US in the Iran war, declaring the UK is “not doing very well”.
Sitting down with GB News presenter Bev Turner in a world exclusive interview, Mr Trump was questioned on whether he would support the UK’s fight for sovereignty of the Falkland Islands.
Bev asked the US President: “We’re worried at the moment in the UK about the Falklands, and your friend Javier Milei said that he’s going to make a statement about the Falkland Islands.
“The US has always been neutral on this issue, but would you come to the aid of the UK?”

Mr Trump responded: “Are you saying they want to claim the Falklands?”
As Bev confirmed the UK is wanting to claim the Falklands, the President told GB News: “Well look, I was there when they had the first war.
“That was a long time ago and I watched it so carefully, and you comported yourselves very well. You took it back pretty strongly, but it’s a long way away. That’s a big trip. It’s a long way.”
