Could Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s return to the UK lead to a royal reconciliation with King Charles?

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s shock return to the UK could pave the way for a reconciliation between the Duke of Sussex and his father, King Charles.

Discussing the bombshell development, GB News Royal Correspondent Cameron Walker and Deputy Royal Editor Dorothy Reddin explored whether the move could finally heal divisions within the Royal Family.

The Sussexes are returning to Britain with their children, Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet, six years after stepping down as working royals and moving to California.

They will remain non-working members of the Royal Family and are expected to live at a private property rather than a royal residence.

Cameon speculated that the King’s relationship with Harry could benefit from having his grandchildren closer, noting that “the King’s naturally delighted that he’s going to be able to spend more time with his grandchildren”.

The pair also discussed the possibility of Harry and Prince William eventually putting their differences aside.

“I love a reconciliation. I love a get-together party. And, you know, I want everybody to get along,” Cameron said.

Dorothy agreed that a reconciliation was possible, saying: “I really, really do hope that one day this will all be sorted out.”

However, she warned that a significant “trust issue” remained between the brothers and questioned whether Harry and Meghan could return to public life without the controversies of recent years resurfacing.
