A 26-year-old British man has been killed after being shot multiple times in the US.
Police in Washington state have now launched an investigation into the death of Jamie Thomas Stephen Lomas.

Officer responded to reports of a domestic disturbance at a property in Kent at 12.20pm.
Mr Lomas died from multiple gunshot wounds, the King County Medical Examiner’s Office report found after the incident at the Lake Youngs home.

No arrests have been made and the investigation is ongoing, the Sheriff’s office said.
The family of Mr Lomas have now launched a GoFundMe to bring his remains to Manchester.
Opened by his aunt, Sharon Day, and cousin Rhiannon Brown, the fundraiser has received over £6,000 to pay for repatriation and funeral costs.
It reads: “Jamie was only 26 years old. He was a loving family man, deeply loved by everyone who knew him.
“He had so much life ahead of him, and we just cannot believe that we are having to say goodbye to him.”
His family said he was “tragically murdered”, adding that they had been left “completely heartbroken” after the recent passing of their grandfather.
“Right now, all we want is to bring Jamie home to Manchester, where he belongs so that we can lay him to rest and give him the goodbye he deserves, surrounded by his family and loved ones,” the fundraiser continues.
“The costs of bringing Jamie home from America are more than our family can manage alone.

“We are asking for any help you can give towards his repatriation and funeral costs.”
His cousin and aunt added: “Jamie was loved so much, and he will be missed every single day.
“There are no words to describe the pain our family is feeling right now.”
The Lake Youngs property is around 17 miles from Seattle, the largest city in Washington.
A Foreign Office spokesman told the Daily Mail: “We are supporting the family of a British man who died in the USA and are in contact with local authorities.”
A spokesman for King County Sheriff’s Office added: “On August 22 at about 12:20pm King County Sheriff’s Deputies were dispatched to a Domestic Disturbance, that had occurred at a residence located on the 23000 block of 156 Ave SE.
“Deputies arrived and secured the scene.
“No arrests at this time and this remains an active investigation by our major crimes detectives.”
